Apple on Tuesday announced that it has beefed its iMac all-in-one desktop computer with powerful new generation of Intel chips and high-definition cameras.
The newest iMac computers are faster to 70 percent as its predecessor with a threefold improvement touted graphics.
New iMacs, Apple stores were available and the California company online store with prices starting at $ 1,199 for models with 21.5-inch (546 millimeter) screen and $ 1,699 for models with 27-inch (685 mm) screens.
"Our customers love the iMac, aluminum housing, pomp and all-in-one design," said Apple senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing Philip Schiller.
"With the next-generation quad-core processors, powerful new graphics, Thunderbolt and FaceTime HD camera technology, we have the world's best desktop even better." (AFP)
