The History of Computer

Prehistoric man did not have the internet but it seems that he include a path and calculations necessary. The limits of the human body, AOS ten fingers and ten toes apparently caused early humans is a tool to help construct these calculations. Scientists now know that humanity invented an early form of computers. Your clue was a bone carved with primes in 8500 found BC.

The abacus was the next step forward in the calculation between 1000 BC and 500 BD. This device uses a series of movable beads or stones. The positions changed, enter a number again and perform math operations on. Leonardo DaVinci credited with the invention of the world, AOS was the first mechanical calculator in 1500th In 1642, Blaise Pascal, upstaged marvel AO DaVinci computing machine, computing AOS and moved forward again.

In England during the 19th Century struck Charles Babbage, a mathematician who built a machine he called the Babbage Difference Engine. It would calculate not only numbers, it would be also used for printing mathematical tables. The Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA (near San Diego) built a working replica of the original drawings. Visitors can see the device in operation there. Unable to construct the actual device, he earned a number of critics in England, AO educated citizens. However, Babbage made a place for himself in history as the father of computing. Not satisfied with the equipment limitations, he drew up plans for Babbage's Analytical Engine. He should use this device to computer punch cards as a control mechanism for calculations. This feature would make it possible for his computer calculations carried out previously in new uses.

Babbage, AOS idea attracted the attention of Ada Byron Lovelace, who had an undying passion for mathematics. She also saw possibilities that the Analytical Engine could produce graphics and music. Babbage, she helped move his project from idea to reality by documenting how the device would be to calculate Bernoulli numbers. Later received recognition for writing the world, AOS first computer program. The United States Department of Defense, a computer language named in her honor in 1979.

The computers, each followed by past success built and improved it. In 1943 appeared the first programmable calculator Turing COLOSSUS. It was in service to decipher encrypted messages from the Second World War Germany pressed. ENIAC, the brain was the first electronic computer, in 1946. In 1951 the U.S. Census Bureau was the first government agency to buy a computer, UNIVAC.

Apple extended the use of computers for consumers in 1977. The IBM PC for consumers, closely followed in 1981, although IBM mainframes were in use by the government and companies.
